We had Progressive Builders to completely redo our guest bathroom dating back to 1990. They went above and beyond in every aspect. They helped us from the very beginning in picking out which tile, fixtures, shower glass etc. with best quality for our budget. They were very polite and conscientious. They worked as per our budget and finished task pretty close to the estimated date. We are saving up for the master bath next and will definitely be booking them again.......

Very good work and stayed right on budget. Kitchen received all new cabinets and flooring throughout. No new appliances but did have new tile backsplash added to clean up the look. Kitchen looks wonderful.

This project included total demo and reconstruction of 3 bathrooms. It included converting the master bath from a Roman tub to a walk-in shower with travertine to the top of all walls which had cathedral ceilings and a triangular window. and replacing toilets, vanities, sinks, and all fixtures. In the guest bath, the tub was replaced with a new tub and travertine on the walls. The sink, vanity and toilet were also replaced, adding an enclosure using 3/8 inch sliding doors. In the downstairs shower, old ceramic tile was removed and replaced with travertine. The toilet, vanity, and sink were also replaced. The floors in all bathrooms were removed and replaced with travertine. In late September 2012, after getting an estimate from another company for our planned remodel of 2 bathrooms, a large master bath and a smaller downstairs bath, we made an appointment with Horizon Construction and Remodeling for an estimate. We had previously read reviews here on Angie’s List. Mark arrived at the designated time, discussed with us our plans, then took measurements of the bathrooms. He also made suggestions regarding the project. He suggested that we meet with him at MSI to look at a variety of materials so he could more accurately provide an estimate. After deciding to have Horizon do the project, we made an appointment with Mark to go over the contract, scope of work, and the payment schedule. It was determined that work could begin on October 3 but since demolition could only begin midday, We decided that early morning the following day would be best. The demolition crew arrived as scheduled and the project was started. Demolition of the 2 bathrooms was completed in 2 days and work began on the remodel construction. Each segment of the project went smoothly. In the meantime, we went with Mark to select a marble slab for the countertops. We also met with the cabinet maker regarding the custom vanities and color of the stain. Work progressed smoothly and ahead of schedule. Along the way, we made several changes. Enna was very helpful in accomplishing those changes and doing the paperwork involved. She is an invaluable asset to the company. When the original project was well on its way to completion, we decided to go ahead and do the third bathroom since we had enough marble left from the slab to do the countertop. Also, the vanity in the upstairs guest bath was the same size as the downstairs bath which made the custom construction easier and more efficient. Mark was here on a regular basis to check on progress, answer questions, and listen to our concerns. In some cases, he had noticed things that needed correction before we even brought them up. Any remodel project, and especially one of this magnitude, is stressful. I know of several cases where projects lasted much longer than anticipated but that was not the case here. The projected completion date was January 10, 2013, however, work was completed December 15, 2012, which made our Holiday Season more enjoyable than it might have otherwise been! The master bath, which was converted from a Roman tub to a walk-in shower is amazing and the other two bathrooms are elegant as well. Horizon Construction and Remodeling is dependable and you can expect them to do what they agreed to do. The quality of their work is good and everyone we encountered was responsible for their part of the job. My only admonition to you is that you make sure the scope of work that you sign off on includes all the things you discussed and thought would be there. If you have a project in mind, call Horizon Remodeling and Construction and give them an opportunity to discuss it with you before you make a final decision. We are pleased with how our bathrooms came out and would not hesitate to call Horizon for another project

I am writing this review because I feel that my experience with this company has been exceptional. When a big man with a deep voice came to my door for my initial appointment, I was quite intimidated. He hopped out of a tiny Prius car, I thought I was watching a magic trick! He ended up being very knowledgeable, we laughed a lot in my appointment, really connected on the project, he showed me samples, and I felt comfortable with hiring him for the job. I am glad that I did. Jason visited our project very frequently to check on the status, make sure we were on budget, and that our time frame was being met. We also had another person visit fairly frequently as well, Dave. We had two project managers, a full office staff if we needed to communicate anything urgent, and workers who were on time and were respectful to me and my home. I am currently waiting on a proposal to remodel my bathrooms with them. What I did: Replaced vinyl flooring in the kitchen with light hardwood, replaced counter tops and cabinets (I chose granite and white wood cabinets), installed under cabinet lighting, replaced lighting with LED lights, installed stainless steel appliances, fresh paint, and stone tile backsplash.

For 60 years, there has been a washer and dryer doubling as extra counter space in the kitchen, and the main bathroom was 60sf of 1950’s glory, with original black and white tiles, and the humble enamel tub and shower curtain….imagine how the bridge ladies rolled their eyes at this mess…. So, Eliad and Nave of TRL, demo’ed the old bathroom and adjacent bedroom down to the studs, and built it back up to a bright & breezy bathroom, laundry and closet. New windows and ceiling fans added light and air… and wide crown molding and baseboards finished the details. This project was completed to the level of a flawless new home, with floor to ceiling tile for the walk in shower, glass doors, all new plumbing, electric all around, and resurfaced hardwood floors. We look forward to enjoying their cheerful work again this Fall, for extra bedrooms, sunroom, deck out back. Their obvious intelligence, good cheer, and attention to details prove it will be easy to turn this next huge project over to them in the Fall. We want to thank to all the great subs, that worked our house this Spring…We, and all the prior many owners of this house, regret not doing all this sooner... ☺

This is the second major project in a year's time where we have used MLM. The first project was the total renovation of two bath rooms. They both were beautifully finished. The second project was the3 addition of a large screen porch on the rear of the house. The room is 22' X 22'. It has porcelain tile floors, ceiling fans, and can lights on a cathedral ceiling. Machi is very much a professional who stays in close contact with the owners. We recommended him to a neighbor who had him remodel a bathroom. They also were very satisfied.

We were first recommended to Chris by our neighbor whose home we frequent often. After seeing her master bath we were really impressed by the workmanship and the good things she was saying about Chris. We had Chris come over to take a look at our spaces and he was able to give us a ball park cost on what this would cost us. His figures were in line to what our research informed us so we decided to move forward. Oleg, his team lead, went over everything with us in regards to what to purchase and scheduling. I must say like clock work these guys showed up 7am and worked long hours sometimes until 8pm. The tile work was amazing from the first two days of it being laid down so I knew the space would be incredible. Chris introduced us to Richard his finance manager and was able to get us financed at a very good rate without having to do a second mortgage. That process was very smooth and easy. We are very happy with the spaces and have already recommended him to a friend and now are in the process of doing a kitchen remodel. They even had a professional cleaner come to clean our home which was nice and thoughtful. Would highly recommend.

Very happy with our kitchen remodel. We kept our cabinets, but had new tile flooring, granite counter top, back splash, sink and appliances put in. Contractor was on time with start and finish date. Reasonable price. Easy to work with. Happy with end product. Thank you.

My bathroom was outdated with terrible wallpaper, not to mention forming mold. I had the entire room gutted and they started from scratch. I splurged and got a jet soaker tub, with a separate glass shower. The tiles in the shower are so immaculate, I was extremely impressed with the perfection of their work. My bathroom is now my serene getaway! Jake and Tom did a great job and I was so happy with my experience
