“I had searched for vintage, old growth oak flooring in my area for over a year. Having found a beautiful home in Glencoe slated for demolition, I removed 800 sq ft of the vintage quarter sawn and rift sawn floors, de-nailed them and brought them home. Then came the search for the installer. I called around and had a classified ad up. Michael from Mysha's Flooring came out to bid on the job. He was professional and full of knowledgable tips for us whether we used his services or not. A great guy. His bid was not the lowest, but we felt confident in his work. So we decided to hire him. He removed the old flooring and installed the reclaimed, quickly and carefully. Always aware of surrounding areas and kept the job site clean and organized. He kept us in the loop on all phases of the job. I feel like we hit the jackpot with Michael. The floors look beautiful and full of character. “What a stunning showroom. These guys really know how to put it together. Late wall size samples. Gorgeous floors throughout an unique choices. They have a custom floor table that looks like a bar! Checkout the custom tiles, and the pearlescent wood flooring stains. I'm not as adventurous with my floor so I chose a grey wash with a light look of a reclaimed floor though they ha plenty to choose from. Love love love this place...”

“A friend referred me to Heartland Wood Floors, she has used them and was happy. And so am I. I had them refinish about 1,000 s.f. of wood floors in the living room, kitching and dining room. Before, the floors were red oak and badly yellowed and scarred. After, they are smooth with a rich warm ebony stain (used the water pop process). Beautiful! They started and finished the project on time. The crew was friendly. And they delivered the finished project exactally on time, as promised and on budget as estimated.”

“Before moving into our new home, we wanted to replace the flooring in the living room, dining room and kitchen, changing the style from a rustic, country look to a clean, modern design. We were also on a tight timeline, because we had already scheduled the movers. And we are picky about design, so it was not an easy task we set for ourselves. We found Interiors and Textiles by searching online for anywhere local that carried a certain brand of flooring. Then we stopped by for a look at all types of flooring -- carpet, vinyl, wood -- wanting something with a designer look. We found the sales team to be very helpful, not at all pushy, and sympathetic to our tastes and time constraints. And we were pleasantly surprised by the selection of wood flooring, and changed our design plan as a result. Interiors and Textiles was able to install the flooring within our timeline. They started just a few days after our purchase, by removing the old imported Italian tile flooring. Then by our move-in date, they had the new floor ready for us to move in, and stopped back a few days later to make sure we were happy and to add the final finishing touches, like the trim. Overall, we were very happy with the product selection, the sales team, the service, the installers and the results. We were able to get flooring that you couldn't find at a big box store or a discount warehouse, and to get it installed quickly. We will stop by again for our next remodeling project.”
